Campus Hotel Hertenstein

We had a very pleasant stay at Campus Hotel in Switzerland. The facilities are excellent, especially if you enjoy outdoor activities and relaxation. You can swim directly in the lake, and many rooms (including ours) offer beautiful lake views. There is also a sauna room with a lovely view near the lake, which was a wonderful way to unwind. The hotel provides a variety of recreational options — paddle board rentals and kayak rentals (very reasonably priced at 10 CHF), along with complimentary bicycles and electric scooters. Although the location is not in the town center, we actually enjoyed using the bikes and scooters to ride to Weggis town, about 1 mile away. It was very convenient and a fun way to explore the area. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. A special mention to the young man at the front desk, Illias, who was exceptionally welcoming and professional — he really made our stay more enjoyable. One area that could be improved is the breakfast. Although breakfast officially runs until 10:30, by around 9:40, some items like eggs and meats were already running low, and the overall selection of food was quite limited. While it was possible to order some eggs from the staff, we expected a bit more variety. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return, especially for the relaxing lakeside setting, the sauna with a view, and the excellent service.

Location, if you want to be out of the way. Had ferry's that stopped there for Lucerne, but no idea on cost/frequency. Staff Swimming and kayaking Breakfast Views Spotless Parking

The most incredible location. Suite was spacious, comfortable with a balcony overlooking the most beautiful scenery.

Breakfast buffet was delicious. Having a ferry stop right out the front door was super convenient. The location on the lake front, surrounded by mountains, was world-class. If we could have stayed here a week, we would have.

Beautiful hotel with a stunning location right on the lake. The private beach was amazing and kayaking at sunset on the lake was our highlight for the stay. The staff were very attentive and a special thank you to Jules in particular who went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful.
